Whatever seasoning or magic they put in it really pops in your mouth. I’ve eaten all over the world, and this meal ranks among the best. The flavors put me straight in Caribbean mode — like I was on vacation again. The staff and atmosphere just make it even better. “Had such a great experience here! Peter, the owner, really sets the tone—his hospitality is genuine and makes you feel welcome right away. The service overall was smooth, friendly, and attentive without being over the top. The Trinidad jerk chicken wings were packed with bold, smoky flavor and just the right kick of spice, and the conch fritters were absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside and full of flavor inside. Definitely a spot worth coming back to if you appreciate good vibes, great service, and seriously tasty food.”

If you want the freshest Caribbean food and tastiest in Jacksonville, then this is your place. You must stop by and try the Fish, Jerked Chicken, Curry Goat, Red Beans and Rice, Oxtail, or a Sample Plate where you can mix more than one entrée. I peonies you will not be disappointed. “I got completely LOST IN THE SAUCE! 😂 The coconut shrimp was crispy, but that sweet dipping sauce took it to another level. I honestly couldn’t even describe the flavor—I just kept going back for more. If you’re looking for authentic Caribbean food and something different to try, put Irie Diner on your list!”

“We had curry chicken and curry goat. They were both delicious. The goat was tender and had a little pepper. Which was perfect for me. The curry chicken was mild. Both had very good portions and we loved the extra sauce on the side.”
